¡WELCOME TO OUR HIVE!
We have provided over 3.650 underserved youths with access to school supplies, skill-building workshops, and life essentials in the past year, and we hope to continue doing so with your support. We want to continue helping as many economically disadvantaged youths as possible in Texas, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
We invite you to partner with us as a donor, sponsor, or supporter of our programs, as we rely on the community’s help as a primary source of funding for our organization.
MOCHILAS FOR BEES
Mochilas for Bees provides economically disadvantaged K-12 students with free basic school supplies and hygiene essentials to support their education for a school year. Every child served through the program receives a backpack complete with essential school supplies.
SPORTS FOR BEES
The Sports for Bees Program is a specially designed initiative that aims to empower young athletes by providing them with opportunities to pursue their passion for sports. The program emphasizes the importance of education alongside sports to encourage overall development and community engagement among economically disadvantaged students in Houston and surrounding areas. This initiative is geared towards creating a positive impact in the lives of young athletes and helping them reach their full potential.
TECHNOLOGY FOR BEES
Technology for Bees Increases economically disadvantaged students and families’ access to technology and awareness of tech industry career opportunities. The program focuses on three digital navigation components: helping families connect to the internet, digital literacy, devices for students, and navigation support to connect families to free resources and technology programs that equip them with foundational technology skills. In addition to student support, we provide educators teaching low-income students with sponsorships for digital resources, enabling them to create a more engaging, child-centered learning environment.
WORKSHOP FOR BEES
Workshops for Bees are designed to support academic success and equip students with skills needed to succeed in college, career, and life. The workshops are an eight-week curriculum based on one of the four focus areas listed below. Each series supports 50 students and every participating student receives a backpack complete with essential school supplies.

Every year, families across the United States celebrate the holiday season, but some families struggle to purchase toys for their children. In an effort to assist families in need during the holiday season and pursue our mission of creating educational paths for students, The Courage to Bee has spearheaded the Christmas for Bees initiative, in Houston and McAllen, Texas Alongside a diverse group of Houston community organizers, our aim is to provide educational toys for 315 children living under poverty.
